Ouch, I actually really liked the first 10 mi utes or so.
That was one of the very few of those Amazon pilots I actually thought was decent. Most of them were horrendous (RE: Alpha House).
Virtually the entire slate of adult (meaning not the kid stuff) pilots was awful. Really really dreadful. This show included. The concept was fine. Sure it felt like a rehash of the movie, but hey its just the first episode. We’d get over it. But within minutes it was obvious the quality of the acting was really really subpar. Sorry no. Deserved to be killed. Personally I thought Alpha House had some promise. But that’s probably the only one.
