Easy fix for kindle -- make it a platform, have stuff for all different kinds of hardware. Totally eliminate mobipocket from the running, then jack up the prices for digital books.

Mark, Yeah, I have IMAP working on Windows Mobile and the iPhone. No idea why we can't use desktop software. And Zimbra sucks (on OS X anyway). Was thinking of reverse engineering how the mobile clients do it.

Glenn, wonder if that's a setting you can adjust. My images come in. Unless you're solely talking about the spam folder?

Another longtime Yahoo mail user, and paying for the Plus service. Not too impressed with the spam filtering myself, but its tolerable.

There are a few bugs I wish they'd fix, like the issue with not displaying images in an email until you press the "Show Images" button. No problem, good idea, except the button doesn't show up when you open the message. You have to close it and reopen it for it to appear. Not sure why...

ditto of sorts on the Yahoo Mail Plus.

Yahoo needs to get that IMAP working properly. I have it working for non-Plus Y!Mail account on my WinMobile phone, but it breaks constantly (if functions at all) for my paid account.

I've actually considered switching my primary email to Gmail for that very reason (IMAP).

With Google's open APIs, I'd no longer be tied to the Yahoo Sync programs and exporting my folders in .EML format ZIP files.
