Do Redlasso videos ever work? It almost always says “Server Unavailable”…WTF?

I hate sites the embed Redlasso clips. More than half the time the clips don’t play becasue Redlasso is having server issues. For the millions of venture dollars these guys have gotten you would think they would at least be able to keep their servers up and running.

RL is the most unreliable service out there. there stollen clips are almost always down.

with a 10 min. limit, i dont see a problem

it wont let you clip 30 mins,

its a great service

I am a small time actor, I like Redlasso because I can capture clips of the shows I am in. But I know a lot of other bigger name actors upset about the lost revenue of viewers watching their shows for free.

One of the major issues in the recent writers strike was about compensation for delivery of materials on “New Media” such as the Internet.

When full blown episodes of shows like “Gossip Girl”, “Lost”, “Living Lohan”, and the “Daily Show” are available online for free, it pisses off all the people who are supposed to receive compenstation for the broadcast. Especially when you see these videos embedded on sites with advertisements, so the web site owners are making money, but not the people who legally should be getting compenstation.

That being said, the Networks don’t have a solution that works as decent as Redlasso’s solution.
