My friend and I signed up and it took about 6 weeks to get approved for the beta. I believe that they only want beta testers that will really spend the time to give feedback. We are playing with it and giving our input plus getting all our friends opinions too. The fyre team is really responsive. Its really great to introduce a new product like this. So far my niche friends think its amazing and only due to get better with all of the content that will be available.

BTW “Travis” they are working on providing a full lineup of gay content. It takes time to get all those studios together. I’m sure they will want gay testers once the content is on….so you should not ignore the chance to get a box now.

Is this a beta program or is it bait-and-switch for a subscription service? And they don’t even spell “canceling” properly.

c. FyreTV will notify all Beta Trial subscriber�s when the fee Beta Trial service will end. Subscriber must cancel their subscription or will be converted automatically to subscriber.

d. Upon the expiration of the free Beta Trial Period, the subscriber will automatically become a paying subscriber, and the subscriber agrees that the subscriber�s credit card account will be charged for the subscription automatically, unless the subscriber cancels the subscription prior to the expiration of the Beta Trial period. This seems like a product that will ultimately work if its managed correctly. How does the pricing of it work once the beta is over?

I have applied for the BETA program and I am awaiting word on if I was accepted….Any idea from the time you apply to how long you get a response?

I was on the list for a free Beta box but when I saw a partial list of the available vids and there was no gay stuff I declined the offer. Fyre did not offer to provide my preferred viewing pleasure so their support isn’t all that good.

I did not say I was not satisfied��I was giving my first impressions (as I stated). These are similar opinions of posts I have read on FyreTV forums. I haven’t spent enough time with it to evaluate it fully, as I plan to just like all the other Betas I am a part of. I have visited the FyreTV forums and will post any ideas or suggestions once my evaluation is complete.
I think it would be a good idea to give simple (optional) homework tasks so you can get a better understanding of user preferences, similar to how Tivo handles their betas.
I am glad to hear you’re open to suggestions� otherwise the beta would be a waste of everyone’s time.

I have BETA tested more than a few products including products from the major tech companies and am currently a beta tester for FyreTV. Yes FyreTv does have a ways to go before it is a perfect system which thankfully for us Beta testers that means many more months of free porn. But the personal and quick customer support that the FyreTV teams provides is incredible. I will see posts on their forum 24 hours a day from their development team personally answering and calling customers to troubleshoot and test their issues. I am not sure if those guys sleep. I don’t know if the guy “Brad” is part of their team or just a very happy “Master-BETA tester” (pun) intended but it sounds like he is and if they are willing to come onto this blog to ask for help on their product from a beta tester that is clearly not happy then that should show the FyreTV Team’s eagerness and desire to design the most “satisfying ” product out there. There BETA test is free so if you want some free porn and have a desire to see what it is about then go to their home page and sign up for it…..someone told me that if you place AVN’08 into the promo box that you will get booted to the front of the line.
