In one sense that is true. However, they could also solely release a DVD and direct any profit back into supporting their business without giving it away like this. We’ve got to give them some credit for being progressive.

If the landscape is anything like it is here in the US, though, the ISPs may not be in favor of every network placing every show on a P2P network…

NRK is a state broadcaster, so all content is more or less the people’s content. They paid for it in the first place

*tear* My little BitTorrent is all grown up…seems like yesterday when seeds all started with Cyrillic charters and I could watch feature films the same day they opened in theaters.

Now that big NASes are so cheap, there’s like no excuse not to try torrents. Some like the whole Buffalo line can be configured to “set and forget” overnight downloading of all your favorite stuff ( only LEGAL downloads of course! ). More here:
