It's not as awkward looking in person as it is in photos. In fact, it's kinda cute -though the scroll wheel does seem disproportionately small compared to the new width. What's really different about both is the menu that only take up the left half of the screen with album art or other visualizations on the right. I was initially confused and wondered how to clear the menu to see what was underneath. Coverflow is pretty, but as on the computer and iPhone it's more of a novelty than an effective navigation tool. By the way, I finally got to see the new Nano (and iPod Classic) on Friday.
