Vacation is always a good thing, but it’s made even better with every technology advance. Here are the top five ways tech will be improving my trip to the beach this week:

1. Portable DVD player to keep child happy in the car
2. GPS to the beach rental
3. Wi-Fi at the beach (no kidding – it’s everywhere)
4. Cell phone and cell phone coverage for coordinating schedules with beach mates
5. Good photos and video from one tiny little camera
