TiVo Antennae Giveaway, Part 2

I like giving things away – it makes me feel good. Most recently David B won the Netgear Skype Phone, Brent E won the DLO Nano Shell, and Chris won the first set of TiVo Antennae. Last week I met up with TiVoShanan and was given another headband to distribute. So leave a comment, and I’ll pick a random winner tomorrow before I head out on vacation.

  1. I’d love to win that Tivo headwear! My three year old would look great in it. :-) I’ll even email you a picture of her wearing it if you want.

  2. I “invented” SteVo, my (Steve) own way of watching TV by using 2 VCRs to videotape my shows and then watch them and to skip over commercials. Who needed multi-$$ single-tuner TiVo when I had dual-tuner SteVo. But when the Series 2 came out, I gave it a try. If I had my own blog, I’d be leaving anonymously mean comments about SteVo – TiVo rocks.

  3. My girlfriend would love me forever if I had that TiVo Antennae!

    Hmm …

Or maybe she’d be really scared.
I guess I’m not sure which.

    : )

  4. “Thanks for the giveaways from time to time.”

I’ve got to hurry up and get through more of this review gear so I can share the love.

  5. Alright, so I ride TiVo a little hard about not having an up-to-date satellite solution – not all their fault I know. I do, however, manage to tax my existing setup without remorse – 2 dual-tuner DirecTivos, 2 RS-TX20’s, 1 SVR2000 as a backup and a 1 SVR2000 as an experimental box.

As a tv pro, I use the sat-Tivos for monitoring and keeping up with games (both are expanded). I use the TX20’s for archiving games I work on for both future reference and other things (an MPG2 from a game I did in 2006 became an Emmy submission on DVD, for example).

    There we go, antennae me!

  6. Market blather orange bicycle. And then the dog said “Why no, I’ve never done that with a woman before.”

    Hey, you said random! :)

  7. I’d love to have this, as a perfect companion to my halloween costume from two years ago.

Before heading out with my little kids I built an AT&T “bars” headpiece out of different sizes of balsa wood, blue tape, daughters headband and a hanger. People got it right away, just like the commercial, where people had cell bars above their head.

  8. We love our Tivo and hardly ever watch live TV. Please enter me in your contest. Thank You!

  9. And the students at my high school thought I was geeky BEFORE I started wearing these around school. You can make this a reality

  10. Do you know somebody who is more into TiVo then I am? Please send them my way. I’ll even take a pic of myself and post it on the blog :).
