Mac SlingPlayer Beta Updated

Six weeks after releasing the public beta of Mac OS X SlingPlayer, Sling Media has taken the wraps off an updated client (build .128) containing numerous bug fixes, support for 10.3.9 (as shown above powering my TiVo Series3), and a slightly improved Mac look (though we still have a ways to go). The software download is free. Beta Manager Sharon Rylander writes:

This new beta release includes support for 10.3 and has many fixes to the first public beta version. It also sports a temporary new skin–a baby step in the Mac direction–while we continue to hone an all new look and feel. It might even get better gas mileage. Everyone currently using the Halloween release of SlingPlayer for Mac OS X should upgrade to this release.

In other Sling software news, the T-Mobile Dash beta has been opened to the public while the private Samsung Blackjack SlingPlayer tester pool has reached capacity. Expect final releases in the next few weeks.
