The article “Eirik Solheim ponders the future of TV distribution” is a pretty clear and succinct summary of the seachange that’s just starting to happen in the media, brodcasting and cable industries.
As for me, if iTunes ever figures out how to sell me episodes in HD, rather than PixelVision, I’ll not only buy their content, I’ll buy one of their computers to play it on as well.
