I'd consider buying once the Inno/Helix drops to $250, but there are still some satellite-specific drawbacks to portable devices -- I doubt these units would get reception in a gym for example. Obviously the recording feature is partially designed to off-set that, but if I wanted recorded music I'd bring an iPod or PDA or cell phone.
