Tim, I don't see a huge market for those hybrid Nexus devices without a built-in antenna (like the Sirius S50) ... except for those that aren't comfortable with the $400 Inno/Helix price tag. $400 seems pretty steep when you factor in the monthly charge. I'd consider buying once the Inno/Helix drops to $250, but there are still some satellite-specific drawbacks to portable devices -- I doubt these units would get reception in a gym for example. Obviously the recording feature is partially designed to off-set that, but if I wanted recorded music I'd bring an iPod or PDA or cell phone. Having said all that, they sure are sexy and I want one. ;)

Is there any real sustained demand for these? I just can't see it.

BTW, taking these to a game (notice the MLB tie in) is not all that great because of the delay.

I did a retail tour today and asked some questions... sounds like delivery was expected yesterday, but the products didn't show. Now they're hoping they'll arrive today or Monday.

Two things... First, the Nexus prices are coming in lower than XM's online pre-order prices. Second, they've Photoshopped a color picture into the Nexus screen -- it should B/W or greyscale.
