Personally I don't think this is a good deal - but then, I also tell everyone I talk to to buy lifetime on every unit they get because I really think it is the best deal. Personally I would've rather seen a different approach - $12.95/month and $50 up front with a 1 year commitment and $150 early termination fee, or $12.95/month and a free box with a 2 year commitment and a $200-300 early termination fee. More like cell phones - commit to a longer term, save more.
